Norges Lastebileier-Forbund (NLF) has launched the Fair Transport quality programme to highlight transport companies that deliver safe, sustainable and responsible transport.
Both buyers and sellers of transport services must take their share of responsibility for a safe, clean and responsible transport industry. There are a number of statutory requirements that purchasers of transport services must be aware of and comply with. If the requirements are not complied with, the transport buyer may be declared an accomplice in any offences and may be held criminally liable if matters are discovered that contravene the provisions.
